Is There A Worse NFL Announcer Than Phil Simms

CBS NFL analyst Phil Simms annoys most television viewers.  There is not a specific thing that irritates NFL fans but a combination of self-importance and overall lack of awareness.

Exhibit A.

Towards the end of the New England Patriots AFC Divisional Round victory over the Houston Texans, Simms encouraged the Texans to complete a quick pass and kick a field goal for a chance at victory.  Except the Texans were down 13 with only :30 seconds left in the game, so kicking a field goal would STILL leave them down two scores.

Its almost sad how disappointed Simms sounded when Jim Nantz had to ruin his magical plan.

    I tolerated this mindless dick the entire 2012 season of Patriots home games. And half the road games.

    Who is he blowing at CBS?

    I don't even give a #@^ about the supah dupah commercials after half the 1st quarter listening to this deluded manekin. I value my brain, y'see.

    CBS must be taking money from the DOD Psyop quarters at this point.

    If the DOD test works this year, they will send in the goons during next years half time. And we'll all be sitting there with stupid looks on our faces, going well duh, Phil Simms didn't say anything about gun confiscation.

    All of CBS is terrible. Please NFL, please, revoke the broadcasting rights from CBS.

    I'm going with Cris Collinsworth for my most IRRITATING announcer. This guy talks as if he has Superbowl rings galore or as if he's been highly recruited to be a coach. S*!t… or even a coordinator for that matter. His career was average if that & it wasn't like he put FEAR in any defensive coordinators. Meaning he was no Steve Largent. He tends to sound like a sour clown & nicely put… a "DWEEB". He even Stunk on MADDEN12.
