I’m having a tough time eating my lunch with this picture staring right back at me, but this was the intensity of Game 4 of the 2010 NBA Finals with the Boston Celtics defeating the Los Angles Lakers 96-89 and tying the series at two games apiece. “Big Baby” Glen Davis went nuts with 18 points and one giant slobber/spit session. Seriously, I may vomit.
I’ve been a Big Baby fan since his days at LSU. As a Philadelphia Sixers fan, I wanted them to take him with their third pick in the 2007 NBA Draft at the 31st spot, but instead they selected Petteri Koponen from Finland and traded him for Derrick Byars (both who have really torn it up, not really). Game 4 wasn’t just a one time phenomenon for Big Baby either, he’s consistently had an impact throughout his playoff career including a game winning shot in a playoff game against the Orlando Magic in 2009.
