Lee Corso Drops F Bomb
Get the Flash Player to see this player. My favorite pregame show in all of sports, ESPN’s College Gameday, gave us another memorable moment.
As Lee Corso was getting ready to make his selection for the featured game of SMU at the University of Houston, he tricked the crowd by pretending to chant for the visiting SMU team.
Than he yelled, “Ah, Fuck It!” Threw down the SMU megaphone thing and grabbed the Cougar head of the University of Houston mascot to a giant roar of the Houston crowd.
The reactions of the people on set were just priceless. Chris Fowler hid his face on the desk. Kirk Herbstreit kicked back in his chair like a child and had a huge grin and visiting host Carl Lewis just clapped with a big smile and said, “I’m glad there’s a delay.”
No there isn’t, Carl!
The worst part came a few minutes later when Corso had to read this apology.
I can tell by the way Corso is reading his apology that he did not want to apologize and probably if the camera was pulled back a little bit you would see ESPN brass holding a gun to Corso’s head.
“I can promise, it won’t happen again.” Because you best believe that ESPN is putting in a delay!
