Poll: Which 2011 NBA Hall of Famer had the better NBA Career?

Dennis Rodman and Chris Mullin lead the NBA Hall of Fame Class 2011.  Our question is who had the better NBA career?

The argument for Dennis Rodman:

Rodman is by far the most flamboyant and controversial basketball player of all-time.  His crazy hair, tattoos (before EVERYONE had a tattoo) and off the court lifestyle sometimes over shadowed his tremendous heart and ability.  He is a five-time NBA champion (2x with Detroit Pistons, 3x with Chicago Bulls), seven-time first team all-defense, seven-time rebounding champion.  As a rebound and defensive specialist, there hasn’t been one better in the NBA.

The argument for Chris Mullin:

Mullin, unlike Rodman, never enjoyed a championship victory.  His college career and NBA resume as a scorer is impressive.  He became the only Golden State Warrior (not named Wilt Chamberlain) to average 25 points or more in 5 consecutive seasons.  He was a member of the 1984 and 1992 Olympic Gold-Medal teams and a 5 time all-star.  Mullin’s talent was overshadowed by the Michael Jordan era and the fact that his Golden State Warriors teams didn’t have enough talent to compete.

RideThePine.com pick: Dennis Rodman

In most scenarios, I would pick an all-around player against a specialist 9/10 times.  Well this is that ONE time.  Dennis Rodman was so great in his position and maybe he wasn’t the main reason his teams won championship but he played a HUGE part.
