If you were dumb enough to waste a Saturday night watching the Bernard Hopkins-Chad Dawson HBO televised boxing event you would’ve gotten at least one treat.  Lavarn Harvell’s knockout of Tony Pietrantonio.

Hey Tony, how’s your face bro?

You have some wacked-ass ears too?

Joe Montana and Kate Upton Celebrity Beach Bowl Game

The greatest quarterback of all-time (after this weekend, I think he’s locked it up) San Francisco 49ers *cough*Kansas City Chiefs*cough* legend Joe Montana is hanging out with model Kate Upton at the DIRECTV Sixth Annual Celebrity Beach Bowl.

Joe was all like, “Tom Brady can have the old dried-up super model, I upgrade every couple of years.”

Kate was all like, “Joe, you’re the greatest let me grab your ball.”  Damn it, that joke never works when there is only one ball.

Doritos - Crash The Super BowlAs a long time sports fan, one thing that I’m sure of is that there is no guarantee that the Super Bowl will be a great game. I still have nightmares about Super Bowl XXIX and San Francisco Quarterback Steve Young running around and having other players “remove” the monkey on his back, as his 49ers blew out the San Diego Chargers. ugh. Don’t even get me started on Super Bowl XXVII, aka The Leon Lett Almost Scored a TD Super Bowl aka I stopped watching in the Second Quarter Super Bowl aka Anybody But The Bills Super Bowl.

But there is one thing every year that is always great and that is the DORITOS Crash The Super Bowl competition.

I know a little something about this competition as I submitted a video last year (that wasn’t very good) that missed the cut.

But this year the competition is so much BETTER! Why? You don’t have to create a video to win money!

DORITOS has picked the 5 home-made finalist ads – two of which will air during the Big Game. Now they want you to help decide on one of the ads that will get airtime, and they need your help for their Million Vote Drive. DORITOS has up to $100,000 that they are giving away to voting fans. Yeah! You don’t need to be funny, creative, intelligent, charming, or handsome. Just head on over to CrashTheSuperBowl.com and vote for your favorite of the 5 finalists. You can also vote through your smartphone or on Xbox LIVE. For every 100,000 votes DORITOS get, they will draw one lucky voter to win $10,000. $10,000 will make you a whole lot funnier, more creative, intelligent, charming and good looking!

Also, be on the lookout this year as DORITOS is going Hollywood! Not only will DORITOS be airing a fan-made commercial, but the creators of the winning spot will also have a chance to work on another DORITOS project with some famous Hollywood directors.

I expect great things from DORITOS this Super Bowl…and some CASH for just voting!!

Bill Belichick, Steven Tyler and Jim Nantz

Aerosmith and American Idol’s Steven Tyler haunted every aspect of the New England Patriots AFC Championship victory over the Baltimore Ravens.

It started with the National Anthem than images of Tyler sitting next to Bob Kraft in the owner’s suite during the game and finally being front and center as the Patriots received the Lamar Hunt Trophy from CBS’s Jim Nantz.

I know Steven is from Boston and a big New England sports fan, but I can’t remember a time when a celebrity was on the winners’ podium.

Shit, Steven Tyler looks like he’s from the American Revolution so lets just get him one of those funny hats and a musket and call him Pat The Patriot.

Add this to the embarrassing things that happened in the NFL this week.

Oakland Raiders linebacker Rolando McClain was arrested this week in Alabama after allegedly threatening to kill someone and firing a gun shot next to the accusers’ head.

Why would McClain be in Alabama when his Raiders play the Dolphins on Sunday?  Because he was paying respects to his late grandfather, who recently passed away.  Nice way to pay your respect!

Eli Manning Pouty Face

New York Giants Quarterback Eli Manning was pouting his face off after fumbling late in the fourth quarter and giving the game away to the Philadelphia Eagles 17-10.

This picture was taken right after Philadelphia Eagles Running Back LeSean McCoy hit for a 60 yard run that sealed the game.

I wonder what is going through Eli’s head at this exact moment?

I’ll never be as good as big brother.
